200 Amp Service Upgrades in Mystic, CT
Adding a heat pump, EV charger, generator or addition? Many older shoreline homes still run on 60 or 100-amp service. We upgrade you to 200 amps with a new panel, meter socket and service entrance, and we handle the permit, Eversource and the inspection start to finish.
What’s included
Every upgrade is quoted in writing and done by a licensed CT electrician. Tap any item for details.
-
We replace the old fuse box or undersized panel with a new 200-amp panel, label every circuit, and add AFCI and GFCI protection where code requires it.
-
A new meter socket, service cable and weatherhead or underground conduit, sized for 200 amps and installed to Eversource requirements.
-
A new grounding electrode system and bonding of water and gas piping, so the whole service meets current code.
-
We pull the town permit, schedule the Eversource disconnect and reconnect, and meet the inspector. We tell you up front how long the power will be off.
-
A 200-amp service leaves capacity for a Level 2 EV charger, heat pump, hot tub or standby generator, now or later.
